No, as you progress through the phases, your diet will become more relaxed with additional foods being added in your Phases 3 and 4. You will even learn how to occasionally "cheat", in a responsible manner, and enjoy a special feast or birthday party!
What is the purpose and what is occurring during the phases?
In the Strict Phase your metabolism adjusts itself and becomes optimized (your metabolism is turned on), starts burning fat and allows you to reach your target weight. At this point you move from the Strict Phase and move onto the Relaxed Phase. Here you will also continue to loose weight and start experiencing the powerful secondary benefits of your personalized diet...immensely improved health, immune system and vitality! Your last phase, the Maintenance phase, preserves your achieved success.
During phase 3 & 4 there are only a few simple rules which you need to follow. You will come to know which foods are good for you and which are not; and when you do cheat your body tends to feel it and wants to return, for a few days, to the strong phase to re-balance itself. You will become more in-tuned with your body and your senses as your program progresses.
